Description THIS COURSE WILL STUDY THE RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN ELASTIC PROPERTIES MEASURED AT THE EARTH'S SURFACE, IN A BOREHOLE ENVIRONMENT OR IN THE LABORATORY WITH THE INTRINSIC PROPERTIES OF ROCKS, SUCH AS MINERALOGY, POROSITY, PORE SHAPE, FLUID IN THE PORE, PORE PRESSURE, PERMEABILITY, VISCOSITY, PRESSURE AND ARCHITECTURE. WHOLE LIKE LAMINATES AND CRACKS. IT ALSO PROVIDES THE UNDERSTANDING AND THEORETICAL TOOLS NECESSARY TO OPTIMIZE ALL IMAGING AND CHARACTERIZATION SOLUTIONS BASED ON ELASTIC DATA.
