GRADUATES PROFILE

The graduate profile contains the fields of work that the graduates will carry out when they graduate. To determine a graduate study program, it can be started with a question: "what will it be after graduating from a study program / college". The graduate profile is a role that is expected to be performed by graduates of study programs in the community / world of work.
The formulation of the profile is suggested to write down a professional role and a series of competencies (learning outcomes) that graduates must have to carry out these roles in a professional, accountable, and noble manner, have the knowledge, skills, independence, and attitudes to discover, discover, develop and apply knowledge, technology, and arts that are beneficial to humanity (PP No. 19 of 2005 article 26 paragraph 4)

Based on previous studies, the study program established a graduate profile of the Physics Study Program consisting of 3 profiles as follows:

  1. Professional Profiles: Graduates who are able to apply physics to solve problems comprehensively in the fields of instrumentation, geophysics, materials, and biophysics.
  2. Scientist Profiles: Graduates who are able to develop the science of physics by using scientific methods either experimentally, theoretically or computationally.
  3. Entrepreneur Profiles: Graduates who are able to develop innovative physics-based businesses.
